Do I need to book in advance?
The artists at HOLM* only work with appointments, we do not do walk-ins. After your project has been approved we usually book you for a session 1 to 3 months later depending on the artist's availability.
How old do I need to be?
You must be 18 years old to enter the tattoo studio & book a tattoo. No one under the age of 18 can enter the tattoo studio. We require you to show us a valid ID on arrival.
CANCELLATION POLICY?
If you need to change or cancel your appointment please contact HOLM* Studio with as much notice as possible.
All deposits are non refundable. However, you can reschedule your appointment up to two times if notice is given at least 2 weeks prior to your initial appointment date. Any further reschedules will require a new deposit. No refunds are given in the event that you are unhappy with the outcome of your appointment.
If you are running late please make sure to let us know as soon as possible, if you are more than 10 minutes late you might lose your slot if your artist has a full day booked with other appointments. In the event of you arriving too late or forgetting your appointment, your deposit will not be transferable to a new appointment nor will it be refunded.
What is the process?
Once the tattoo project has been approved and the deposit paid, an email confirmation will be sent with your booking date and time.
On the day of your appointment, we will ask you to complete a personal consent form on arrival. A consultation, included in your appointment, will then take place with your artist. Dedicated to go over the design with the artist, this time will be used to discuss together, make changes and collaborate to create a unique piece for you. The artist will then tattoo you through the rest of the session, making sure both of you get enough breaks to feel comfortable and relaxed.
Can I get a consultation?
A consultation is included in your appointment and will take place on the day. We always make sure to book you a long enough session for you to have time for your consultation. Dedicated to go over the design with the artist, this time will be used to discuss together, make changes and collaborate to create a unique piece for you.
Creativity and collaboration are strong values at HOLM* as we believe in putting our strengths together. All pieces crafted by our artists are unique interpretations of your desires and ideas for your tattoo; we thank our clients for the trust they put in our artists' talent.
How do I prepare for my tattoo?
No alcohol should be consumed in the 24 hours before your appointment. It is down to the artist’s discretion to complete the tattoo in a safe manner. We recommend a good night sleep and a big breakfast at least two hours before your booking.
It’s important for you to stay hydrated and keep your blood sugar levels up on the day. We will provide water, tea and coffee. Make sure to bring snacks if you come for a day long session.
How long will it take to heal?
Everyone’s skin type is different when it comes to healing. We recommend waiting a minimum of two weeks before your next tattoo session. If you work outside and are exposed to dirt we recommend taking a few days out of work after getting your tattoo. If you are going away on a holiday, we recommend waiting 3 to 4 weeks before exposing your new tattoo to direct sunlight and water (chlorine & salt).
How much will it cost?
Once you’ve completed the appointment form, HOLM* Team will contact you with a quote. Depending on your tattoo project you might get a price for the entire piece or a day rate if your tattoo will take an entire day or more. Each artist has different day rate and pricing depending on their style and experience.
All our resident artists accept bank transfers for the final payment. Joe also takes card or cash payments. Please make sure to come prepared.
No refunds are given in the event that you are unhappy with the outcome of your appointment, as the artist's at the studio make it their upmost priority to ensure you are happy with the design and therefore your tattoo throughout each session.
Help, where is parking?
Can I come with a friend?
You can come with one friend if they are over 18 years old. They will have to stay in the waiting area while you are getting tattooed.
